Four decades of Danish restraint
LINDBERG began in 1983, when optician Poul Jørn Lindberg and his wife Hanne set out to make glasses that did less, better. In 1986, working with architect Hans Dissing, they introduced a titanium wire frame with a hinge made from the wire itself. No screws to loosen. No solder to crack.
That idea still defines the brand today, and it has earned LINDBERG a long list of international design awards.

A rimless frame is only as good as its lenses, because the lenses are the frame. Every LINDBERG we sell is fitted with ZEISS lenses that our lens maker, Cory, measures, cuts and mounts in our own lab here in Kailua.
Precise measurements matter even more with rimless designs, where there is nowhere for a poorly made lens to hide.

Are LINDBERG frames worth it?
If you wear glasses every day, weight and comfort matter more than almost anything else. Most people feel the difference the moment they put a pair on.
Can LINDBERG frames be adjusted?
Yes. Titanium adjusts well, and we fine tune the fit when you pick them up and any time after, at no charge.
Can LINDBERG be made into sunglasses?
Most LINDBERG optical frames can be fitted with polarized ZEISS prescription sun lenses. Ask us which styles work best.
Do I need an eye exam first?
Bring a current prescription, or book a full hour eye exam with Dr. Mordue and choose your frames the same visit.
