2. Or book online. Our live booking shows real open times. Same-week is usually available, and same-day shows up when we have it.
A note on walk-ins: we genuinely love fitting people in last-minute, and we'll always try. But because every exam is one-on-one with Dr. Mordue, our schedule books up — and on a busy day, the next opening might be a few hours out or not until tomorrow. A same-day visit is still a full exam
Walking in fast doesn't mean a watered-down exam. Your visit includes digital refraction for an accurate prescription, retinal imaging, glaucoma screening, and a complete eye-health evaluation with Dr. Lauren Mordue — plus time to find frames you'll actually love from our boutique.
Most comprehensive exams run about 45 minutes. Need contacts too? A contact lens fitting can often be added to the same visit — just mention it when you call.

Can I really get an eye exam today?
Often, yes — but it depends entirely on the day's schedule. We hold room for same-day exams whenever we can. The only way to know what's open right now is to call or text (808) 501-2020. If today's full, we'll book you the very next opening — usually within a day or two.
Can I just walk in for an exam?
You're welcome to try, and if there's an opening we'll happily get you seen. But please know exams aren't guaranteed for walk-ins — on a busy day there may not be an opening for several hours. To avoid a wasted trip, call or text first so we can tell you exactly what's available. (Browsing frames, adjustments, and repairs are always walk-in, no appointment needed.)
What should I bring?
Your current glasses or contacts, your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of any medications. If you have a prior prescription, bring it — but it's not required.
Do you take my insurance?
We're in-network with UHA and TRICARE (active-duty dependents), and your exam is FSA/HSA eligible. Not sure about your plan? Call or text and we'll help you understand your benefits before you come in.
